+ What type Motorbikes can I rent to Explore São Miguel Island?
We have three types of motorbikes available for rental: 125cc scooters, which can be driven with a car license (B) and 25 years of age or with an A2 license; medium-sized motorcycles, which require an A2 driver's license; and heavy motorcycles, which require an A1 motorcycle license. We have an option for all types of drivers!
+ Is the the full payment made during the booking process? How does it work?
Yes, the payment should be made in full in order to complete your booking. Currently, we only accept credit card payments through our website. This way, we guarantee the reservation of your vehicle and a smooth and safe experience.
+ What is not covered by the Easy Pack insurance?
The basic insurance option does not cover scratches/damage made to the vehicle, rims, tires, glass, headlights, roadside assistance, legal protection, treatment expenses, and occupant protection. It's also the only option where there's a deposit made at arrival. It's a lot, we know, but we have to be transparent about it. For a more comprehensive coverage and a worry-free trip with no deposit, we always recommend choosing SUPER Easy Pack Insurance.
+ How do deposits and security deposits work?
Depending on the insurance chosen, the main driver must have a valid credit card upon arrival that will be used to reserve a deposit for the rental period. This amount will be refunded upon the return of the vehicle, considering the vehicle's condition. This is another good reason to select the SUPER Easy Pack Insurance, which ensures a worry-free trip with no deposit.
+ Can I change or cancel my reservation?
Of course! To change or cancel your reservation, simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are here to help in all stages of your trip and you can do it for free within the period of our cancellation policy.
+ What should I do if my flight is delayed?
If your flight to Ponta Delgada Airport is delayed, you can contact us at +351 919 136 477 or through our WhatsApp. We want to ensure that you have a smooth experience, even in unpredictable situations during your trip to the Azores.
+ Can someone else drive the vehicle I rented?
Yes, by selecting the "additional driver" extra. At the time of vehicle pick-up, the main driver and the additional driver should provide both their IDs and Driver's Licenses.
+ What is the minimum age for driving?
The minimum age for driving is 18, provided of a valid driver's license. It’s important to note that inexperienced drivers will have an additional daily fee.
+ Does Azores Easy Rent provide baby seats and booster seats?
Yes, we can provide baby seats and booster seats, just select them at the time of booking or contact us at email@example.com. We also have summer and winter kits, great for families or light pack travelers.
+ What information do I receive after my reservation?
After the reservation, you will receive a booking confirmation and information on where to go once you’re here. We want you to have all the necessary information to enjoy your experience with Azores Easy Rent while you drive around this beautiful azorean island!
+ Can I rent a car for just a few hours?
Yes, it is possible to rent a car for a few hours, and the price will be calculated based on the minimum daily rental period. For bookings with specific requirements, please trust your needs with our staff and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
+ Does Azores Easy Rent offer deals for long-term rentals?

+ What should I do upon arrival at Ponta Delgada Airport?
When you’re outside at João Paulo II airport, head right to Park 6, where our team awaits with your car. The process will be mainly digital, very transparent and efficient. You’ll be exploring the Island in no time.
+ Does Azores Easy Rent offer transportation services?
Yes we can provide transportation from your location to our office. An additional fee might be due but we’re happy to help you get around quicker.
+ What documents are required to pick up the vehicle?
To pick up the vehicle, the main driver must have their citizen card or passport, driver's license, and if you choose the basic Easy Pack Insurance, also a credit card. If you choose the SUPER Easy Pack Insurance, you do not need a credit card for pick up. Everything is ready to start your adventure!
+ Should I check the condition of the car before starting my trip?
Absolutely! We believe in modern, efficient, and professional processes. Using a tablet, a thorough check of the car is conducted by the driver and an experienced staff in order to generate an accurate rental contract dispaying the current condition of the vehicle. This procedure is repeated when the car is returned at the end of your trip.
+ What should I do if I have a breakdown/problem with the car?
1 - Ensure that the car is stopped in a safe location and set up the safety triangle if the situation requires.
2 - Call our 24-hour Assistance Service (+351 919 136 477 emergencies) and provide us with the car's license plate, the situation, and your current location.
3 - After a quick assessment made by our team over the phone, we will send assistance to the location as soon as possible so that you can quickly continue your journey around the Island of São Miguel.
+ I have the SUPER Easy Pack Insurance but caused damage to the car. Do I have to pay anything?
The biggest advantage of selecting the SUPER Easy Pack Insurance is peace of mind during the trip, as the vast majority of damages, whether caused by you or third parties, will not have any associated costs. It is important to inform us at the time of the damage so that we can update the information in the system, and we remind you that the Super Easy Pack Insurance does not include damage caused by neglect (e.g. lost keys, wrong fuel, inside and under the car). An additional insurance can be added for this purpose.
+ I have the Easy Pack Insurance and caused damage to the car. What happens?
This insurance option only covers damages caused by third parties, which must be proven, so we recommend that you contact the authorities in case of damages caused by third parties. If the damages were caused by you and in the absence of the SUPER Easy Pack Insurance, you will be liable for the costs involved in repairing the car. The deposit amount is used to cover these costs, and the difference is returned if the costs are lower than the initial deposit or demanded if the cost are higher. Once again, opting for the SUPER Easy Pack Insurance promotes a peaceful and worry-free trip, with lower risks for you and for Azores Easy Rent.
+ How is the final evaluation made at delivery?
Our team uses the tablet with the initial assessment and rental contract to check for damage, basic inside cleanliness, kilometers driven and fuel level. In short, we ask you to ensure that the car is in good condition to avoid any additional charges.
+ What should I do for car return?
We ask you to commit to return the car as close as possible to the same conditions it was handed to you, including the fuel level and interior conditions. As for the rest, the processes and documents are digital, and our Azores Easy Rent team will take care of the rest, including exterior washing.
+ What should I do if I forget an item in the vehicle?
